Tree Planting and Woodland Experience

On a windy, damp and seriously muddy afternoon, Year 4 went off to the National Forest to plant trees. A wonderful experience was had by all - even if it was rather chilly (there was still snow on the ground!). This is an important feature of learning in years 3 and 4, increasing the tree population in the Ratby area, as it used to be a very industrialied part of the country. Children can be proud to think that they've been involved (twice) in this event.
